PURPOSE:To obtain a one-pack chloroprene adhesive having excellent adhesive power and heat resistance, by mixing a chloroprene rubber modified with an aminosilane with a tackifier resin and an organic solvent. CONSTITUTION:The title adhesive consists of a chloroprene rubber modified with an aminosilane, a tackifier resin, and an organic solvent. The modification of a chloroprene rubber with an aminosilane is carried out by reacting the aminosilane with the Cl at the position 2 of 1,2-chloroprene which is present in an amount of about 2% in an ordinary chloroprene rubber. As the tackifier resin, a chelation product made from an alkyl phenolic resin and a metallic oxide is preferably used since it improves the heat resistance and cohesive power. Examples of the organic solvent to be used include aromatic (e.g., toluene), ketonic (e.g., acetone), alicyclic (e.g., cyclohexane), and chlorinated hydrocarbon (e.g., trichloroethylene) solvents.
