The device has been developed to enable less powerful and athletic people to move over the water on skis. Two water skis are fixedly connected in the longitudinal direction via a saddle, by hinges. They can however, be moved transversely as a result of a logically applied linkage. The sea-horse is towed by a line behind a motor boat. The user can thus, with a certain amount of skill, experience the effect of water skiing without exertion in the standing or sitting position. By skilful movement to and fro of the linkage (reins) it is possible for him, without any effort, to glide over the water like a water skier and swerve away to the right or left.
