This invention relates to a method and apparatus for aligning axles with respect to the frame of a vehicle and for determining wheel camber thereof.
<??>Specifically, the instant invention relates to an alignment means (16) employing a fixed reference located relative to the frame (12) of the vehicle (11) and a means (26) for establishing the centerline of the axle (13, 14) of the vehicle (11) whereby the distance between the fixed reference point and the centerline of the axle (13, 14) may be measured in order to determine alignment of the axle (13, 14) with respect to the frame (12). In addition, the camber the wheels may be determined by using level means. |
