PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of a document and improve reliability by providing a document feeding port with a stopper and a document feeding port without a stopper, and preferentially feeding a document from said feeding port without a stopper when documents are set simultaneously to both of the feeding ports, in the captioned device of a copying machine, etc. CONSTITUTION:The sheet detecting signals of the inlet sensor 22 of a digitizer paper feeding port without a stopper and the inlet sensor 3 of a document handling device paper feeding port with a stopper, are inputted into an unshown control device. And, when both of the sensors 22, 3 simultaneously detected documents, a digitizer 26 starts a paper feeding operation making sure that priority is given to the digitizer paper feeding port. Due to such a structure, the damage of a document can be prevented, improving reliability. |
