PURPOSE:To obtain a speed detector whose output voltage is proportional to a rotating speed with less components attached externally in case of integrating the detector by sample-holding near a peak by differentiating a sinusoidal wave of one phase. CONSTITUTION:A sinusoidal wave signal of one phase from a frequency oscillator corresponding to the rotating speed of a motor is differentiated by a differentiator 1, and its waveform is further inverted by an inverter 2. One phase sinusoidal wave signal is waveform-shaped by a waveform shaper 3, and the rising and falling edges are detected by edge detectors 4 and 5, respectively. It is sampled at the rising and falling edge points. Further, two differentiated waveform is replaced by a directional discriminator 6 to alter the polarity of a voltage to be sampled. |
