<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the title copolymer excellent in (water-resistant) adhesion to metal, glass, polyolefin, etc., by graft-copolymerizing a trialkoxyvinylsilane with an ethylene/(meth)acrylate/maleic anhydride copolymer in the presence of a catalyst. CONSTITUTION:0.1-10pts.wt. trialkoxyvinylsilane (trimethoxyvinylsilane and/or trimethoxyvinylsilane) is graft-copolymerized with 100pts.wt. ethylene/(meth) acrylate/maleic anhydride copolymer of a number-average MW of 9,000-27,000, an MFR of 1-200g/10min, a (meth)acrylate unit content of 0.3-12mol% and a maleic anhydride unit content of 0.2-5mol% in the presence of 0.05-0.3pt.wt. peroxide catalyst such as dicumyl peroxide by melt kneading with, for example, a kneader to obtain the title copolymer of an MW of 12,000-36,000 and an MFR of 0.1-30g/10min.</p> |
