PURPOSE:To easily perform the test of a sequence program by using a sequence controller which executes a sequence program and a system tester which simulates the sequence program. CONSTITUTION:In testing a sequence program, a sequence controller 7 executes the sequence program stored in a memory 5 and a system tester 8 connected to a digital input/output circuit 9 simulates the program. If an error of the sequence program is detected from the test, a converter 4 converts adversely the sequence program converted into an object program into a source program. This source program is corrected and then converted again into the object program.
