METHOD FOR FORMING SHAPE MEMORY NI-TI ALLOY SHEET

PURPOSE:To facilitate the forming of a shape memory Ni-Ti alloy sheet by superposing the sheet on other metallic sheet and forming them so as to prevent cracking due to the concentration of stress. CONSTITUTION:A shape memory Ni-Ti alloy sheet 1 is superposed on other metallic sheet 2 and the two sheets are formed with rolls 5a, 5b and heat treated at a temp. necessary for shape memory treatment. The metallic sheet 2 is then removed.
