PURPOSE:To obtain a heat-resistant silane coupling agent which has a high boiling point and undergoes neither sublimation nor evaporation when heated, by using an aromatic amino silane compound having a plurality of trialkoxysilyl groups in the molecule as an effective component. CONSTITUTION:A silane coupling agent is formed by using an aromatic amino silane compound having at least two trialkoxysilyl groups in the molecule [e.g., N,N'-bis(trimethoxysilyl)diaminodiphenylmethane or N,N'-bis(triethoxysilyl) diaminodiphenyl ether] as an effective component. This silane coupling agent can be obtained by reacting 1mol of an aromatic diamine (e.g., 3,3'- diaminodiphenyl ether) with 2-3mol of a trialkoxysilyl chloride. When this silane coupling agent is used, the coupling function of this agent does not drop even after heat processing.
