Deformation of connecting wires of air-cored coils

While printed circuit boards are being fitted with SMD components mixed with air-cored coils, problems arise in the mixed fitment. If such boards are intended to be soldered using the reflow method, the coil legs must be designed such that sufficient mechanical strength is also ensured with respect to the mechanical deformation for electrical trimming. The construction of the legs consists of a thickening in conjunction with a deformation of the connecting wires.
