PURPOSE:To improve operability by allowing the next feed only after the set is released when the next original is set at a feed port within a fixed time after an original is discharged. CONSTITUTION:A sheet original 2 is mounted on an inlet tray, and the first original detecting inlet sensor 3 detects the front end and rear end of this sheet original 2. A stopper 6 prevents the original 2 from being fed onto a platen 10, and it is released by a solenoid 21. According to this constitution, an inlet sensor 22 is monitored, with a cancel timer set to a time somewhat longer than the time that the discharged original 2 reaches a feed port by its impetus, and if the original 2 is detected within that time, this original 2 is removed, then after the inlet sensor 22 is turned off, the stopper 6 is released, and the next original can be set. |
