A receiver arrangement with a phototransistor (1) is proposed which has phototransistor operating range control. For this purpose, the signal supplied by the phototransistor (1) is fed via a low-pass filter (3) to a control transistor (6) which draws off some of the base current from the phototransistor (1) if the interfering light intensity is high. <IMAGE>
