Video cassette with child lock

The lock comprises a magnetic contact which is incorporated in the cassette guide and makes it possible that even when the machine is locked so-called children's cassettes can still be played, whereas cassettes which are intended for adults only can only be played if the latching mechanism and consequently the switch-on button are switched. Consequently, children and able to play their cassettes and rerecord onto them even when the machine is locked.
