The invention relates to a floor gully having a discharge vessel and at least one top-side inflow opening enclosed by an attachment border, having an attachment piece which is positioned on the attachment border and into which an inflow part can be plugged from above, and having an odour seal which comprises an upper odour-seal bell and an overflow ring with a central pipe which projects into the odour-seal bell from beneath, overlaps with the bell and defines the odour-seal height. Although odour seals can be inserted in known floor gullies, only a limited height often being available, owing to the floor thickness, for accommodating said gullies, said odour seals, however, have a height which is too low and does not correspond to the standard requirements. The invention, however, provides that at least the overflow ring with the central pipe of the odour seal is fixed in the discharge vessel by means of the attachment piece, and that the central pipe, with a first part of its vertical extent, extends downwards from the plane of the attachment border into the discharge vessel and, with a second part, extends upwards into the attachment part. In this manner, even where the floor gully has a low overall height, an odour-seal height corresponding to the standard requirements is achieved.
