<p>Reversible electric battery comprised of a plurality of cells (1) which are connected in series by bipolar collectors, each cell comprising a positive electrode and a negative electrode formed by deposited zinc, and between which circulates an electrolyte containing zinc in the form of a solution. The reversible electric battery is characterized in that each of the cells is vertical and comprises means (51, 52) to channel the electrolyte between the electrodes along zig-zagging veins forming a closed circuit and a pumping device (8) providing for the circulation of the electrolyte within said cell and in that the pumping devices (8) of a plurality of cells (1) are rotationally coupled to each other while being electrically and hydraulically isolated and are driven by an outer common motor (14).</p> |
