An electric motor is installed with an epicyclic transmission in a common housing (1). The rotor shaft (5) of the electric motor engages at one end, which is constructed as a sun pinion (14), directly in the epicyclic gears (9). The hollow wheel (10) which guides the planet gears (9), as well as the stator (4) of the electric motor are mounted directly in the cylindrical part of the housing (1). The rotor shaft (5) is guided in a roller bearing (11), preferably only at the end facing away from the sun pinion (14).
