Device for positioning a pile of blanks on a feed device for forming machines

In order to simplify the setting of the magazine to a different blank size on forming machines with automatic drawing in of the blanks, the proposal according to the invention is to make use on the magazine of two positioning elements which are set to the size of each pile of blanks. The setting of these positioning elements is then transmitted to position sensors on the pile lifting tackle and the pile lifting tackle thus always sets each pile of blanks down precisely on the changing magazine.
