摘要 1. A process for the manufacture of spice extracts by extraction with gases which are not detrimental to health and which are in the super-critical state with respect to pressure and temperature, characterized by continuously admixing 2 to about 8 wt. % of an organic solvent as an entrainer with the unloaded gaseous extraction agent, and extracting the spices with the resulting homogeneous mixture in the super-critical state in respect to pressure and temperature and separating the extracts from the solution obtained by means of pressure and/or temperature variations.
