DRAFTING METHOD IN SPINNING MACHINE AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To narrow the width of a sliver in a region from a front roller to a delivery part as much as possible, by sucking and bringing the sliver into pressure contact with an air-permeable film transferring perpendicularly to the sliver running in the back of a front roller. CONSTITUTION:A rotating body 21 which is an attracting and twisting means 20 and suction nozzle 22 are provided in the back of front roller (FR). An air- permeable film 23 is transferred perpendicularly to a running sliver (S) to come into pressure contact with the sliver (S) by suction, roll and twist the silver (S) by running thereof. The silver (S) is bundled in without causing fluffing or disorder by air streams accompanying the rotation.
