LIQUID CRYSTAL PANEL

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a liquid crystal panel which is short in response time and is suitable for TV image display of a good display grade by providing an angle of inclination to liquid crystal molecules relative to the surfaces of substrates which sandwich a liquid crystal layer and providing the same direction between the substrates to the angle of inclination. CONSTITUTION:The liquid crystal layer is sandwiched by the glass substrates 11 each having an oriented layer 12 formed by diagonal vapor deposition of SiO. Directors 13 of the liquid crystal molecules have >=10 deg. pretilt angle and the angle of inclination thereof is adjusted to have the same direction with both the substrates 11, 11. The response time is thereby shortened and the active matrix liquid crystal paned for the good TV image display is obtd.
