PURPOSE:To obtain an emulsified perfume having improved dispersibility and stability by emulsifying a perfume insoluble or hardly soluble in water with propylene glycol alginate and whey protein together as an emulsification stabilizer. CONSTITUTION:An emulsification stabilizer or an aqueous solution thereof is added and blended with a perfume insoluble or hardly soluble in water or a blend thereof with a specific gravity adjuster and emulsification is carried out to produce an emulsified perfume. In the process, propylene glycol alginate and whey protein are used together as an emulsification stabilizer at the following ratio, e.g. both are used in amounts based on the total weight of the emulsified perfume (based on the total weight of the final product) to give 0.5-5wt% propylene glycol alginate and 0.05-0.5wt% whey protein. The propylene glycol alginate, having a low viscosity and showing 10-100cp viscosity of a 1% aqueous solution thereof at 20 deg.C is preferred. |
