<p>PURPOSE:To automatically detect a period with high accuracy by finding the minimum frequency and maximum frequency of a pulse, converting the arrival time and frequency numerals of the pulse into arrival time and a phase difference, and calculating the period from their ratio. CONSTITUTION:A frequency distribution generating circuit 2 generates a frequency histogram according to the frequency numeral from an input terminal 1. An SINE decision circuit 3 decides whether an input signal has an SINE characteristic or not from the obtained histogram. The SINE decision circuit 3 transmits the minimum and maximum frequencies to a frequency discriminating circuit 4. The frequency discriminating circuit 4 finds the phase range and rough period of a frequency numeral inputted for every pulse. A period calculating circuit 5 converts the frequency of two pulses from the center frequency to the maximum frequency into a phase and outputs the smoothed value of plural data to an output terminal 6.</p> |
