<p>PURPOSE:To shorten the write time by not performing a write operation if data in a write area is the same as data to be written. CONSTITUTION:When an IC card or the like provided with a data memory 1 like an E<2>PROM, a program memory 3, a control element 2, etc., is connected to a card reader/writer through a contact part 4, data in the write area is read before write to the memory 1, and the card reader/writer does not write data in the memory 1 if read data is the same as data to be written. Since unnecessary write is not performed, the write time is shortened.</p> |
