PURPOSE:To equally record and form plural recording parts and to speed up the preprocessing of a recording medium by forming plural laser spots which have specific density and never cause cracking on an optical recording medium in parallel by an easy method. CONSTITUTION:Laser beam 5 having a constant quantity is emitted by the Ar<+> laser light source 10 of a preprocessor for the recording medium consisting of a substrate 2 and a recording member 3, made into a specific shape by passing through a cylindrical lens 9, and incident on an optical splitter 4 consisting of a half-mirror 7 and a mirror 8, so that the light is split into four laser light beam. Those laser beams are reflected by a mirror 13 and incident on a condenser lens 12 to form four laser spots 10 which are equal in intensity on the recording medium 1. Further, the spots converged on the recording medium 1 are moved in the circumferential direction X and diameter direction Y of the recording medium 1 according to the rotation and movement of a motor 14 and a moving table 15, thus shortening the preprocessing time of the recording medium. |
