<p>PURPOSE:To prevent grease from drying up securely by providing a contact surface of a slip ring constituting an electric relay mechanism of a steering wheel with a grease retention groove having two surfaces sloping down toward inside concentrically with the slip ring. CONSTITUTION:A slip ring 25 constituting an electric relay mechanism of a steering wheel consists of a 1st conductor layer 27 formed by etching a copper plate on the surface of a base 26 and a 2nd conductor layer 28 formed by screen-printing silver paste on the 1st conductor surface. In this case, a grease retention groove 29 is cut continuously concentrically with the slip ring 25 in the center of the width of the contact surface S of the slip ring 25 and the grease retention groove 29 is filled with grease G. The grease retention groove 29 is formed by cutting the respective conductor layers 27 and 28 off so that two sides of each groove have respective slopes 30 descending toward inside.</p> |
