PURPOSE:To enhance repeated use characteristics of a photosensitive body by using a specified dihydroquinoline derivative as an electric charge transfer material. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive layer is functionally separated into an electric charge generating layer, and a charge transfer layer containing as the charge transfer material one of the dihydroquinoline derivatives represented by the formula shown on the right in which R1 is alkyl, aralkyl, or aryl; each or R2-R5 is H or alkyl; R6 is H, alkyl, or aralkyl or the like; R7 is alkyl, aralkyl, a heterocyclic group, or the like; and it is preferred that each of R6 and R7 is optionally substituted phenyl, thus permitting the obtained electrophotographic sensitive body to be enhanced in sensitive characteristics and reduced in variation of the difference between potentials in the light and in the dark after repeated cycles of electrification and exposure. |
