PURPOSE:To efficiently purify a sugar phosphate (salt) useful as medicaments or reagents for analysis of biological substances, by subjecting the sugar phoshate (salt) containing phosphoric acid (salt) to electrodyalysis in the presence of the sugar to remove the phosphoric acid (salt). CONSTITUTION:A mixture of a sugar phosphate (salt) (example; glucose 1-phosphate, glucose 1,6-diphosphate, etc.) with phosphoric acid (salt) (example; orthophosphoric acid, etc.) is subjected to electrodyalysis in the presence of >=0.5g/l sugar (example; glucose, maltose, etc.) to remove the phosphoric acid (salt) and obtain the purified sugar phosphate (salt).
