PURPOSE:To obtain powdery sintered model having smooth surface and no cracking by using metallic powder having the specific grain distribution as base material, molding slurry adjusting as mixing colloidal silica as a binder, drying and sintering. CONSTITUTION:Iron powder having >= 40% cumulant weight of grain of <=10mum grain size is used as the base material and the slurry 5 mixing the colloidal silica as binder with it is adjusted. Next, the slurry 5 is flowed in the original mold 10 composing of model 1, base plate 2 and flask 3, and after detaching the forming body 5', which executes molding and drying, from the mold, the forming body 5' is further sintered in the sintering furnace. The strengthened sintered bonding body 5'' obtd. is assembled with the other sintered bonding body 5a after fitting work of an ejector pin hole 7, guide pin 8, etc., to make to the desirable powdery sintered model 12. In this way, the powdery sintered model having smooth surface and no cracking is produced.
