PURPOSE:To facilitate to strip off a sealing member by fixing the shorter side of a sealing member that covers the discharge port of a developer replenishing container to an end of the discharge port and turning it at another end of the discharge port to cover the discharge port doubly, and projecting an end not fixed to the sealing member from the replenishing container or the developing device. CONSTITUTION:A replenishing container 4 contains developer in it, and a discharge port 9 for dropping developer contained in it to a developing container 6 is provided at a part on the bottom of the container 4 where it is in contact with a developing container 6. To collect contained developer to the discharge port 9, an inclination is provided inside of the replenishing container 4 toward the discharge port 9. A sealing member 10 is stuck on the discharge port 9 from the side of a face in contact with a replenishing port 8, and an end of the member 10 projects from the replenishing container 4 and a container support 3a. Thus, the sealing member 10 can be easily stripped off with the replenishing container 4 attached to the container support 3a.
