PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material capable of giving a high optical density by heat-processing a coloring matter image for a short time and having less tendency for generating fog by incorporating a specific compd. to the titled material. CONSTITUTION:The titled material contains a photosensitive silver halide, a binder, a substance capable of affording a coloring matter and a compd. shown by formula I or II. wherein Ball is an org. ballast group capable of giving nondispersibility to the compd. shown by the formula, said Ball may be omitted in a case that R<1> is the non-dispersable group, Y is a carbon atom group necessary for forming benznee or naphthalene neuclus, R<1> is alkyl, cycloalkyl or aryl group, etc., R<2> is H, halogen or alkyl etc., (n) is 0-5. Thus, the titled material which may obtain the coloring matter image having the high optical density by heat-processing it for the short time, and has less color impurity and an improved shelf life is obtd. |
