PURPOSE:To attempt improvement of running stability particularily at high speed by providing a shaft which is rotated depending on car speed, on a car body side whereby adapting elastic members to secure rotatably a front and a rear link which support a rear wheel in such a way as to be freely oscillated up and down, onto said shaft while their spring constants are made different. CONSTITUTION:Where a front and a rear link 2 and 3 extending in the car width direction are adapted to secure a rear wheel 1 to a member 5 on a car body side via elastic members in such a way as to be freely oscillated up and down, a front and a rear elastic member 7a and 7b where a spring constant in one direction is made high, and a spring constant in the direction normally intersecting the aforesaid direction is made low, are fixed on a shaft 6 secured rotatably on the member 5 on the car body side in such a way as to be shifted each other by 90 deg. in phase. And the shaft 6 is rotated by an electric motor 9 through a link mechanism 11. And the electric motor 9 is controlled by a controller 20 receiving the output from a car speed sensor 19 in such a way that the spring constant of a front side elastic member 7 is lower than that of a rear side elastic member 7 in case of running at high speed. |
