PURPOSE:To permit a rolling of a body to be controlled to a desired rolling, by determining a variation of a ground clearance from a reference position based on a vehicle speed, a steering angle, gains read out from a map using them as parameters and adjusting the gronod clearance in consideration of the variation. CONSTITUTION:Flow control valves Va control the charge of operating fluid to and the discharge of the same from cylinder chambers of actuators connected respectively to suspension arms of respective wheels for permitting a ground clearance to be adjusted. An electronic control unit 102 controls the respective control valves Va. More specifically, first the electronic control unit 102 calculates a variation of a ground clearance from a reference ground clearance which is necessary to make a rolling property of a body to a desired rolling property based on respective output signals from ground clearance sensors 87-90, a steering angle sensor 113, a vehicle speed sensor 115 and gains determined from a gain map using a vehicle speed and a steering angle read out from memory means as parameters. Then, the flow control valves Va are controlled based on a deflection between a target ground clearance+a variation of a ground clearance and an actual ground clearance. |
