PURPOSE:To make release of locking easily and rapidly by applying shake in the vicinity of a lock in the range of the second and the third setting time when the object position is not reached within the first setting time. CONSTITUTION:In the operation of change gear actuators 6, 7, for instance, shift in, shift out, select, when shift, select etc. can not be made within the first setting time A, electromagnetic valves of the actuators 6, 7 are operated in the original direction during the second setting time B and they are operated again in the direction of the object position during the third setting time C, and these two operation are repeated by setting number. As, in the case of temporary lock, it cannot be released only by the operation of returning to the original position, shake is applied in the vicinity of locking position so as to release the temporary lock. Then, lock release can easily and rapidly be made. The second and third setting time B, C are set less than the first setting time A.
