PURPOSE:To burn garbage into non-order and non-harmful ash by a method wherein a garbage combustion chamber is provided with a micro-wave heating cylinder for self heating under acceptance of micro-wave irradiation. CONSTITUTION:Garbage generated through cooking flows from a discharging port 6 of a water tank 5 into a garbage collector 3 together with water. At this time, micro-wave shielding units 7 and 10 are closed. The dust is collected in the garbage collector 3 and as the micro-wave shielding unit 7 is opened at stage of accumulation in a desired dust amount or as required, the garbage drops into a micro-wave shielding cylinder 11 arranged in the lower dust combustion chamber 8. After the garbage drops, the micro-wave shielding unit 7 is closed, a magnetron device 13 is oscillated, a micro-wave is transmitted into the dust combustion chamber 8 through a wave guide 14, each of the micro-wave heating cylinder 11 and the dust may absorb a micro-wave to heat by itself and their temperatures may reach several hundred degrees. At this time, in order to facilitate a combustion of the dust, air it taken from a suction pipe 15 and the exhaust gas is discharged through a discharging pipe 16.
