发明名称 ORGANIC THIN FILM MULTICOLOR DISPLAY ELEMENT
摘要 PURPOSE:To form an org. thin film multicolor display element provided with a display function for multicolors with one picture element by using plural kinds of molecules for at least either of donor type molecules or acceptor type molecules. CONSTITUTION:The plural kinds are used for at least either of the donor type molecules and acceptor type molecules of the display element. For example, a transparent conductive film 2 consisting of ITO, etc. is formed on a glass substrate 1 and further an insulating molecular film 41 is formed via an inorg. insulating film 3 thereon. The superlattice laminated with many layers of the laminated structures of the acceptor type molecular films 5 and the mixed donor type molecular films 6 contg. two kinds of the donor type molecules D1, D2 is formed thereon. An electrode 7 is formed via an insulating molecular film 42 thereon. The transmission spectra of white light change according to the value of such a voltage at which the upper electrode 7 turns negative, when said voltage is impressed to the above-mentioned display element. The display color is changed to 3 stages like yellow, blue and red according to the impressed voltage by reflecting the change of the transmission spectra.
