PURPOSE:To improve a low-temp. characteristic and to obviate the generation of chipping at the end in the initial period of copying by forming a cleaning blade of urethane rubber formed by bringing a specific polyol into reaction with a polyisocyanate and crosslinking agent. CONSTITUTION:The cleaning blade is formed of the urethane rubber formed by bringing the polyol consisting of 20-80wt% polyester polyol having 1,500-3,000 number average mol.wt. and 80-20wt% PE adipate having 1,500-3,000 number average mol.wt. into reaction with the polyisocyanate and crosslinking agent. The generation of the chipping in the cleaning blade is thereby obviated not only in an initial period of copying but also after the long-term use of an electrophotographic copying machine and the stable cleaning performance is assured while the excellent low-temp. characteristic is maintained. |
