PURPOSE:To facilitate changing or extending a traveling course by constituting each branch mark so that an address related to the address of a branch guide line is displayed on the branch mark for the purpose of identifying the following branch guide line. CONSTITUTION:Branch intersections K are provided in plural positions of a guide line L of an article transporting moving car A, and a branch mark m1 is provided before each intersection K, and a branch guide line La connected to the intersection K is provided. An encoded address due to combination of magnet pieces or the like is given to the line La. An address related to the address of the line La is given to respective stop positions ST of the line La. The address related to the following line La is displayed on the branch mark m1 for the purpose of identifying the following line La. The moving car A detects the address by a magnetosensitive mark detecting sensor 9 to easily change or extend the traveling course.
