PURPOSE:To obtain a large thrust and eliminate the unevenness in feed by transmitting the revolution of a capstane to a feeding rod throusgh the meshing of gears and the friction between friction surfaces. CONSTITUTION:A capstane wheel 1 has the gear parts 1a and 1b in the upper and lower parts of the peripheral surface, and the intermediate trunk part between the both gear parts is formed into a bulged frictional surface 1c and revolution-driven by a driving source. A feeding rod 2 is guided in the straight advance direction, and the toothed parts 2a and 2b meshed in relatively shallow meshing with the gear parts 1a and 1b are formed in the vertical direction, and the intermediate part between the toothed parts forms a frictional surface 2c which frictionally contacts the frictional surface 1c of the capstane wheel. Therefore, the revolution of the capstane is transmitted mainly through the meshing between the gear part and the toothed part in high speed revolution, and the minute positioning is driven mainly by the frictional force of the friction surface.
