PURPOSE:To simply form a footpath for paddy field by a method in which a connecting pole is driven into the ground, and supporting plates for footpath are driven into the ground while penetrating them into vertical long trenches provided on the sides of the connecting pole. CONSTITUTION:Vertical long trenches 6 are provided on the upper sides 5 of a connecting pole 4, a collar 7 for preventing sinkage is provided to the central part of the pole 4, and a pile 8 having a pointed tip 9 is provided to the lower part of the pole 4. Trenches 3 for preventing sliding are provided in the surface of a footpath 1, and supporting plates 2 for the footpath are provided to the lower part of the footpath. The pole 4 is driven into the ground, and the plates 2 are driven into the ground while penetrating them into the trenches 6 of the sides 5 of the pole 4. Walking on the footpath even in the rainy season can thus be made possible, and the footpath can be used semi- permanently.
