PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a transmission gear, by providing both a speed change gear and a transmission gear, which rotates unitedly with a speed change shaft and which is constantly engaged with the gear of a transmission shaft, on the speed change shaft and selectively engaging a change claw, which is moved in a change groove along the change shaft, with engaging grooves of the inner peripheral parts of the said speed change and transmission gears. CONSTITUTION:When a gear 2 rotates, a speed change gear 3, which is on a speed change shaft 4 that is constantly engaged with the gear 2, rotates. In this state, a change claw 9 is moved by operation along a speed change groove 8, so that the claw 9 is engaged with an engaging groove 10 of the change gear 3, as planned. At this time, the change gear 3 rotates together with the change shaft 4 as one body, and the power is transferred, with this rotary ratio of the change gear 3, from a transmission gear 7, which is installed on the change shaft 4, to a transmission gear 6. Meanwhile, when the claw 9 is moved from the engaging groove 10 of the change gear 3 to an engaging groove 11 of a transmission gear 7 so that the change gear position becomes neutral, the transfer of the power is suspended. By effectively utilizing the width position of the transmission gear 7 like this, the transmission gear by speed change gears can be miniaturized. |
