PURPOSE:To greatly reduce the force transferred to the foundation, regardless of the size of the frequency of a vibration generating source, by providing a two-stage, vibro-isolating support device, which can be applied to the vibration-isolation to various kinds of vibration generating sources, with an exciter, an accelerometer, and excitation control circuit, which are attached to the intermediate mass of the support device. CONSTITUTION:In order to reduce the force transferred from a vibration generating source 1 to the foundation 3, a two-stage, vibro-isolating system is formed by using an intermediate mass 2 and a pair of vibro-isolating members 4 and 5. At the same time, the intermediate mass 2 is provided with an accelerometer 6, which detects the acceleration of the intermediate mass 2, and an exciter, which gives the force to the intermediate mass 2. Meanwhile, the input/output of both accelerometer 6 and exciter 7 is input into an operator 8, which computes the force to be applied to the intermediate mass 2 based on the acceleration of the intermediate mass 2, whish is detected by the accelerometer 2. The results thus obtained are feed-backed to the exciter 7, which applies the variable vibromotive force to the intermediate mass 2. Thus, the vibromotive force, which is transferred from the vibration generating source to the foundation 3 can greatly be reduced, regaradless of the size of the frequency. |
