PURPOSE:To effectively cope with various vibrations by preventing a mount from becoming a rigid body in a high frequency zone while maintaining the damping force of vibration of a large amplitude at a low frequency using a viscous damping force by means of the shearing stress of a highly viscous fluid, in the mount device of an automobile. CONSTITUTION:Cylindrical caulking fitting members 4 are provided in an integrated form with both end parts of a cylindrical rubber elastic body 2. A fluid chamber 10 which is enclosed in the rubber elastic body 2 is formed by caulkingly fixed cover bodies 6, 8 by means of the fitting members 4. And, silicone oil is sealed in this fluid chamber 10. The top faces 20, 22 of the rubber blocks 16, 18 of the cover bodies 6, 8 are faced to each other in the vibration inputting direction leaving a narrow gap of a defined distance l in between. Accordingly, when the vibration in the vertical direction is inputted into a mount device which is installed in between two members via installing bolts 12, 14, a pressing force acts on a highly viscous fluid existing in the narrow gap between the top faces 20, 22, generating a shearing stress proportionate to the velocity gradient of the flow of the highly viscous fluid. The damping force is proportionate to the sizes of the top faces 20, 22. |
