PURPOSE: To prevent dew from condensing in a stack by allowing any of burner combustion quanties stored in memory means to have a temperature value which is equal to or more than a predetermined valve at which no dew condensation is generated. CONSTITUTION:The space heater comprises a burner 1, a combustion fan 3 and a heat generator 4 and at least one of a convection fan 11 and a heat exchanger 5 for heating floor and the like. The combustion quantity of the burner corresponding to the temperature difference between the detected temperature of one temperature detector and a set temperature with respect to the independent operation of the burner 1 and the combined operation of the burner 1 and at least one of a heat exchanger 5 for heating floor and the like, are stored in memory means. The burner combustion quantity has a value where an exhaust gas temperature due to combustion has a value which is equal to or greater than a predetermined value at which no condensed dew is generated. Hence, no condensed dew is generated within a stack during the combustion. For this reason, water drops do not flow out of joints between the stack aud radiator to wet a carpet and the like within a room, and at the outdoors water drops do not freeze to block the stack and damage the same.
