PURPOSE:To obtain an abstract picture video and to utilize a television receiver as part(moving picture) of a living environmental space by passing a received video signal through a low-pass filter. CONSTITUTION:The low-pass filter LPF 4 transmitting only a low frequency component included in a video signal is inserted between a video intermediate frequency amplifier (VIF) circuit 3 and a video signal processing circuit 5, and an LPF 6 transmitting only low frequency components included in three video signals R, G and B is inserted between the circuit 5 and an output amplifier circuit 7. When changeover switches 4-2, and 6-4-6-6 are opened, a CRT part 8 faithfully reproduces a television signal that an antenna 1 receives through a tuner 2, the VIF circuit 3, the video signal processing circuit 5 and the output amplifier circuit 7. When the changeover switches 4-2 and 6-4-6-6 are switched to operate the LPF 4 and/or 6, fine parts in the video disappear, and an abstract video is projected.
