NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I (R is OH or NH2) or its salt. EXAMPLE:6-Hydroxy-N-(2-nitroxyethyl)nicotinamide. USE:Remedy for circulatory diseases. PREPARATION:The compound of formula I can be produced by suspending the substituted nicotinic acid of formula II, 1-hydroxybenzotriazole of formula III and dicyclohexylcarbodiimide in an organic solvent such as THF, reacting the components with each other at 5-20 deg.C for 0.5-3hr, adding an aminoethanol nitric acid ester of formula IV dissolved in an organic solvent to the resultant active ester compound and reacting at 10-30 deg.C for 0.5-3hr while cooling with water under agitation.
