The standing seat includes an upright support embedded in the car body, a height adjuster frame being slidable up and down on the upright, a lock cylinder for locking the frame at a suitable height position for a passenger, and a safety holder provided on the height adjuster to safely support the standing passenger on the car. Stand- riding on the seat presents a better feeling of weightlessness for passengers.
