PURPOSE:To efficiently remove the impurities contained in oil such as lubricating oil, by providing an attraction member consisting of a magnetic material and an electrified member electrified with positive electricity to the midway of a passing route of oil containing impurities, such as lubricating oil. CONSTITUTION:Lubricating oil subjected to crushing is introduced into a cylindrical body 50 through an inlet 51. In this case, a coil magnet 55 fed with current from outside generates magnetism and thereby a steel net 53 which is incorporated in corrugated board paper 54 is magnetized. Sludge such as an iron component contained in the lubricating oil is magnetically attracted and removed therein. Furthermore the other impurities electrified with negative electricity by crushing are electrostatically attracted by the corrugated board paper 54 electrified with positive electricity and removed. Therein sludge such as the iron component magnetically attracted before attracts the impurities electrified with negative electricity on the surface thereof through positive electricity of the corrugated board paper 54 and therefore purifying effect is enhanced. In the case of principally aiming only at removal of the impurities electrified with negative electricity, this treatment may be performed by internally providing only the corrugated board paper 54 in the cylindrical body 50.
