摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the accident from generating when an electric actuator is in nondriving state, even if a switch is short-circuited and turned-ON in collision, by installing a control means for operating an electric cutting-off means when a detection signal is input from a collision detecting means. CONSTITUTION:When an ignition switch 19 is turned-ON in the ordinary case, the coil 20b of a power source relay 20 is excited to close a contact point 20a, and when a seat switch 18 is turned-ON to the normal revolution or reverse revolution side, an electric motor 17 is revolved normally or reversely, and a seat is moved forwardly or rearwardly. In collision, the collision is detected by a collision detecting switch 21, and the switch 21 is turned-OFF, and the coil 206 of the power source relay 20 is deenergized to open the contact point 20a. Therefore, even if the seat switch 18 is short circuited and put into the turned-ON state by the deformation, etc. of each part of a car body in collision, the supply of electricity into the motor 17 is cut off, since the contact point 20a is in opened state, and the motor 17 is not driven, and the inadvertent shift of the seat forward or rearward is prevented previously.
