PURPOSE:To enable the title label to coat a vessel by adhering close to the same, by a method wherein a heat-shrinkable label composed of such a material as to draw a curve showing a sudden rise within a specific temperature range in a heat shrinking ratio-temperature graph is put over the vessel and shrinking under a moist heat atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:A polyester series polymer can be mentioned normally as a material as to draw a curve showing a sudden rise especially within a range of about 60-95 deg.C, in a heat shrinking ratio-temperature graraph. It is desirable that a heat-shrinking method base on the normal dry heat and the heat-shrinking method under a moist heat atmosphere are used together to shrink the material effectively. A normal method base on a shrink tunnel wherein dry hot air is circulated or a hot air blowing method can be exemplified as a dry heat shrinking method. When preshrinking is performed by dry heat beforehand, and then the same is completely shrinked thermally under a moist heat atmosphere, even shrinking spots are not generated and coating of the label becomes possible under a favorable state.
