PURPOSE:To quickly confirm the propriety of reception of a receiver of all terminal equipments by providing a reply bit onto a transmission frame circulating a line exchange optical loop network and allowing a node station at the transmitting side to send a transmission frame after the replay bit is set in receiving a transmission request from a terminal equipment. CONSTITUTION:The reply bit 2 (consisting of 1-bit) is provided to a transmitting frame 1 circulating an optical loop transmission section 41 is given to inform the reply of the propriety of reception of a terminal equipment transmitting a data. At first, a transmitting side node station 42 receiving a transmission request from a terminal equipment 31 sets the reply bit 2 to send the transmission frame 1 at a 1st circulation to the optical loop transmission line 41. A reception side node station 43 receiving said transmission frame 1 detects that at least one of terminal equipments 34, 35 connected to its own digital bus 39 is not in the receptionable state, then sends the transmission frame 1 while resetting the reply bit 2.
